Ryan was selected as a Fellow to participate in the ASHE Institute Critical Policy Research and Analysis to be held in Denver, CO on July 13-15, 2009. The Institute offers support, training, and professional development opportunities for early-career faculty, policy analysts, and doctoral students as a way to cultivate perspectives in the next generation of higher education scholars and to increase the range and effectiveness of scholarship on questions of racial equity in higher education.
